Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Size:331 Sq.Km jungle containg both montane and low land forest.
This Park is a UNESCO designated World Heritage site that protects many endemic and endangered species including Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Gorilla tracking sessions expose a tourist to lots of these creatures. This is home to roughly half of the World's Mountain Gorillas and Gorilla tracking is the main tourist activity. Bwindi Gorilla tracking is an adventure any tourist in Uganda can't afford to miss. The sight of the expressive brown eyes of these gentle giants is the most exciting and poignant wild life encounter that Africa has to offer.
